I might be tempted to pee in it...
I think it looks fine, but I'm not one who cares to restore my vehicles to original. I "resto-mod" to make things more useful with upgrades.
I'm always careful when standing up after crawling out from under the deuce, but then I forget I left a cab door open or the tailgate down and stand up right under that. WTF
I got the tank mounted, hoses connected, and wiring done.
Under the fuel gauge I put the ON-OFF-ON switch that changes between tank sending units and right next to it is the ON-OFF for the secondary fuel tank pump.
Ironically, after all this work, I still don't have a working sending unit in...
Thanks for the clarification Jake!
Attached are pictures of the plumbing I did to both tanks. The first picture is the secondary tank and the second picture is the main tank on the truck. I couldn't find any pipe fitting at Lowe's to fit the 1/2" flare line coming out of the pump in the...
I got the rebuilt master cylinder and a short air pack installed tonight and will bleed tomorrow.
I also spent $30 at Advance Auto parts for switches and hoses and $30 at Lowe's for plumbing for the tanks. I got everything plumbed up and ready to go.
If the brake bleeding goes smooth tomorrow...

I understand the truck was originally supplied with a DOT 5 brake fluid system.
Do you understand that a DOT 5 system can be converted to DOT 3 when the proper steps are followed?
I also am running DOT 3. Whether I plan on it or not, I seem to be doing brake service once a year so why not go with the fluid that is $15 a gallon at Walmart (made in USA too).
With everything apart you're in a perfect position to flush and fill everything, as you should do when switching...
Better stop posting wanted ads in the normal forum or you're going to be banned, and you have to pay to use the classifieds.
Try ebay or call Kublos surplus for what you need.
I just ordered my M35A2 W/W data plate from them and it is even marked as Kaiser-Jeep. Perfect! $6 less than David Kelone.
I hope he buys a nice steak dinner with the $31 I sent to him and he gets the worst diarrhea ever!
I would open a dispute in paypal but I didn't send it as a payment for...
I'll be working on it this coming weekend hopefully. Pictures and instructions will follow.
I have a master cylinder and air pack to rebuild and install first. What good are dual fuel tanks if you can't stop?
I played with firewood fire a short time and I never could get it to work out financially to make it worthwhile.
Keep in mind, unless you have a locker in the differential, you need to tie your rope or cable to both tires on the same axle to pull yourself out using the methods mentioned...
