    M38a1 + M100 length?

I have a 16 ft car hauler trailer and I can move my M38A1 and M416 (close to M100) if I first put the trailer on with the trailer tongues over each other and the M416 back edge held down to the car hauler deck. Then pull on the M38A1, fold up the ramps and it barely fits. The first time I...

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

I think it might of been the truck that usually sits at a logging or lumber company office right on Rt 51 in that area. I think it is a OD green with a camo cargo cover.

Where did you source a replacement and what was the cost? Thanks

Stripped winch bolt and fluid levels.

Haha well I wouldn't be having such an issue with this bolt if it wasn't on the front of the truck where I have to look at it and be reminded every time I walk by. Thanks for the grease link. I noticed someone has been into my winch and there is permetex hanging out of the seal areas...

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

Great link! Looks like my sending unit might not be providing any resistance. Do these commonly go bad?

Stripped winch bolt and fluid levels.

Some rocket surgeon stripped one of the four 1/2" bolts on the top of my winch that holds that top piece of channel with the data plates on it to the winch. When looking at the front of the truck, it is the rear right bolt (driver side of truck, closest to driver). Does anyone know if there is...

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

I found from a TM the front end should be towed in about an 1/8th inch or less. Can anyone verify that? Still chasing my fuel pump wiring too... BUT I did get the truck all stenciled and prettied up for a parade this weekend! Also got a cargo cover and bows to put on...

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

I was able to get a local mechanic to sign off on truck weight. I should be getting my antique plate soon. Thanks for the offer though. My roommate said he spotted a truck that looked like mine, which to him means an olive drab 6x6, hauling a group of dressed up good looking girls to a prom...

Stuck deuce and a couple hrs of work.

I was actually practicing using my winch yesterday. Is the cable missing off of the stuck truck or is it just me? Putting the strap around the front bumper is a good way to cut it. Always use the D-rings. That is what they're there for.

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

I added the pic as an attachment since standard doesn't seem to work here. I wanted to get some ducks in a line before I threw my info into the VIN info thread. I'll try showing a mechanic the TM. What is the TM number with weight data? If it is in TM 209-2320-361-10, I have that one.

Need Weight/Dimension data plate, alignment spec, and fuel gauge wiring info

Paperwork says I have a 1954 Kaiser-Jeep M35A2, recently acquired in NY. From my pictures people seem to think the truck is closer to a 1970 vintage. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/299203_10150835648755343_755350342_21019041_1500798431_n.jpg (See attached image)...

My 54 M35A2, NY to PA, 450 miles in 2 days

Just checked the frame, under both fenders is a date in 1967, and I can't find the VIN that is on my title anywhere. Interesting. Also it looks like a dash plate is missing, that that one probably had the info I'm missing. I'm trying to find the loaded and unloaded truck weight so I can get...

I haven't verified it. I'm just going by what the paperwork said.

    Advice on M35A2 Purchase

Well I payed for it and I'm just trying to get insurance and registration squared away so I pushed back picking it up to next weekend hopefully. Should I print out some manuals and take with me, such as TM 9-2320-361-10?

    Advice on M35A2 Purchase

Yup, I knew that was a typo in the CL add. Thanks for the good advice everyone. Keep it coming please! So does anyone know an M35A2 expert in the Syracuse area?

    Advice on M35A2 Purchase

Howdy everyone. I'm looking to purchase an M35A2 and I think I found the one on CL, about 300 miles from my home. Right now I have a 63 CJ5 that I purchased almost bone stock in 2005 and converted to a rough M38A1, and I'm restoring a 1966 M416 trailer for it that I picked up recently. This...
