Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

I've verified that the filter base bolt in the drawing posted is **** near identical to the one sold with the current aluminum kits. Those are uncommon thread sizes and I haven't found them on online like on McMaster's website but I will call them tomorrow. Finding these available commercially...

    Tranfer case hodgepodge

In my quest for the conversion from the sprag to the air shift, I have acquired two air shift cases with their own unique problems at a fair price. In the pictures, you'll see that the one on the left has a broken mount. I assume this was broken when the truck that it was in was rear ended and...

Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

So that bolt in the bottom half of the drawing holds down the stamped piece that is shown on the top of the drawing on to the motor's filter base, correct? Is just Permetex or gasket maker used between the sheet metal part and the motor's filter base?

Anybody have any specs to make spin filter adapters?

So we could come up with a screw on adapter that has lines to a remote filter, with the filters positioned opening-up, so they retain oil. If anyone can point me in the direction of a universal remote mount and hose kit I can draw up the adapters to make that happen.

    Jake's Military Fleemarket

I hope that stipulation about no firearms and live ammunition is about selling things and not applying to people who want to conceal carry or open carry their personal firearm.

    Self-correcting master cylinder leak?

I picked up a good master cylinder and air pack this weekend for $75. DOT 3 is in fact hygroscopic. It absorbs moisture, which is why DOT 3 brake fluid should be changed every other year or so. You've been changing the brake fluid in all your vehicles, like I have been, right? DOT 5 does not...

    Self-correcting master cylinder leak?

I honestly can't say what DOT was in the system when I purchased the truck. I also found a Grade 8 bolt used as a shear pin for the winch so I'm taking a closer look at things now and reading more TM's! Regardless, it sounds like we're all singing from the same hymnal now.

    Self-correcting master cylinder leak?

True. My system already showed evidence of mixing based on the ugly fluid in different colors and viscosity that came out of it. I'm running DOT 3 from here out.

    Self-correcting master cylinder leak?

I picked up a master cylinder I'm going to rebuild and install. I also picked up a newer short air pack. Currently, I have the older long air pack that has the rebuild kits readily available. Can the short one directly replace the old one? Simple modifications needed? I plan to pull and...

What would you do for a Deuce

I'm just happy I'm dragging home junk before I get married. Now I come with "baggage"...about 50 tons of it.

    Extra fuel tank install

Can you explain what the problem is with the return line only going to one tank? What is wrong with that OR why couldn't it be plumbed with a "T" to both tanks? I have a complete tank to install on the driver side and I was planning on using check valves and double throw switches to make it...

    5 Ton Recover---gone bad

I got to see this truck and trailer today when picking up some M35A2 parts. Jake is a great guy and I really look forward to seeing what he does making that trailer into a camper.

Pennsylvania M35A2 owners.....A couple questions for you.

I have no idea why you would license in NY. Costs on registration and insurance are higher. I had NO issues registering and insuring my truck and others will say the same. Someone is blowing smoke up your rear end.

    12 volt radios in 24 volt m35a2

If you go the website selling them here: Car Power Inverter Convert Device DC 24V to 12V DC, Car Power Converter, Car Power Adapter You can click the image of the doohickey and when it enlarges, you can read the wiring schematic laid out on the sticker. Looks very simple. Red and black to...
