I wanted to pick your brains and see if you could help me with what could be a major

You could have a wheel locking up because of a brake problem. Stuck wheel cylinder or broken brake spring. Depending on which shoe is hanging up it could happen only when backing.

    Hard top Price?

greenjeepster, If a hardtop works for you thats fine. You are incorrect about the lifespan of a softop. The softop I have on my truck is rubberized and will last many years without having to replace it. Even the canvas softops last along time if you treat them. I had a canvas top om my M-37 and...

    Hard top Price?

What is the big deal about a hardtop anyway. I have a soft top and I love it. I don't exactly live in the warmest climate either. My truck has a heater and a winter front and is quite comfortable at 20 degrees . Any colder than that, I wouldn't be driving it anyway. I guess for the guys that...

    fast idle temp switch

No, you don't have to drain the coolant if you can get at the switch fairly easy. Wait till the engine is cold, crack the radiator cap to release any pressure and tighten the cap back up. Loosen the old switch, have the new one ready and make a quick swap. you will loose very little coolant if...

Tom over at Alfa Heaven probably has the best selection of parts for the M-211 and the M-135. Got running boards from him and a bunch of other used parts. It was quality stuff for 50 year old parts.

Classifieds suggestion - REQUIRE vehicle titles

Stan, that may be true in Canada but not the U.S. We buy vehicles here all the time without titles and they are NOT parts vehicles. CT. is a no title state and no inspection state. If what you say is true, then a lot of vehicles on our roads are parts vehicles. Not so!

    Autometer pyro

This is not a complicated install. Here is a picture of my boost gauge and pyro from Pro-Comp. I cut into my oringinal dash light circut and ran the lights in series so the lights would go on with the light switch. The gauges even come with a colored cover for the lights to match the red tint...

    Need electrical help!

Welcome Ashley. Check the brackets on the alternator that rattles. One of them may be broken or cracked and is not keeping the belt tension up to par. That would make it slip and the alternator will not charge to specs. There is a lot to learn about the electrical system. NDT has hit the nail on...
