Waayfast, you can stop? I don't even lie about it anymore. The only way I'll ever stop is when I'm dead! Hi, my name is Ron and I need more military vehicles!:roll::roll::roll:

    Ft. McCoy entry directions

First time I was there, being a stupid newb, I almost took the convoy entrance to the east. Hey, I was excited about the pickup and not paying enough attention. When you get to the main gate, you can't miss it!

    Ft. McCoy entry directions

Kenny, don't want to be an argumentative jerk, but as of last summer there were a few entrances off 21, but only one main entrance.

You need to use the main entrance. Mapquest it or check directions on GL site.

16 inch rim for m880 series

Westy, I got 'em from some nut that picked them up on the other side of Iowa, and I believe he got sunburned, besides!rofl

16 inch rim for m880 series

Nope, GM rims have a smaller center hole and will not fit on the dodge. I have a stock set of CUCV rims with humvee tires for my 882 and it's a no go.

The Wife is Screamin, For Joy or Pain, I can,t tell

Mdmorgan Oops, I thought you were kidding. It's a chevy and it's only posted here 'cause it fits. During WWII, as a general rule, GMC built the tandem 6x6, 2 1/2 ton with the designation CCKW. Each letter means something, but I can't remember off hand. Chevy built the 4x4 1 1/2 ton version. Of...

The Wife is Screamin, For Joy or Pain, I can,t tell

Good score! Looks to be in really great shape. Lose the dump box and find a more original bed and you're in business! Mdmorgan, it's already a 1 1/2 ton single axle. How would you go about "bobbing" it? Ron

No problem, it stopped raining/drizzling so I went back down and checked the third truck and there's an extra pedal and linkage! When things slow up around here I'll get it ready to send, just don't let me forget![thumbzup] Ron

It's a possibillity, let me check another parts truck and I'll see if I have enough for current plans. Of course, current plans almost always fall through, so there's probably an extra set here.

Hope this works! The first three are from a parts truck and the last two are from a cab laying on it's back in the yard. Best I could do on short notice!:-)

    Towing A M105 Trailer?

FWIW, here's how I brought my 105 home last summer. Didn't have to worry about wheel bearings or brakes.

not wanting to ruin a piece of history

Sorry to hear about your uncle. My brother was a marine in Viet Nam. He was there in '65 somwhere near Da Nang. You should be able to find some marking help because of the marines involvment in the pacific during WWII. Or just update a bit and use your dad's or your curent unit markings. It's...
