The proper Tach for the C/K 10 through 30 had no fuel gauge in it. The fuel gauge moved to the lower left corner where the clock option was. If your Tach has a fuel gauge in it then it's from a larger C40,50,65 and up. Tom

I would cut a switch and connector out of salvage yard and splice it in and be done. But, that must be too much work for you, so you need to download the TM manual from this site and follow the diagrams at the end of this manual. TM 9-2320-289-34 Tom

It is a open Diff if one wheel goes in opposite direction. Most are open Diff's. Your trying to overcome a large set of spider gears. Pretty hard to do by hand turning a wheel. Tom

The CUCV M1008/1028 is based on the K30 as most know. LMC truck lists No parts for a C K30 one ton. Only Half and Three quarter ton tucks. The one ton frame is deeper than the 1/2 or 3/4 ton frame. However some body/misc. parts interchange. Do as suggested and buy Quality carriage bolts and...

You look on the backside between the two mounting bolts? Should be a copper or plastic pipe going to the Air Filter Canister. Tom

I don't see were it shows those Alt. you listed to be isolated ground? You might use one but the other Gen2 will have to be modified. I agree any Alt can be rebuilt to zero time tolerances no matter the look or Condition it's in. Tom
