Any help identifying this small articulated vehicle?

Chupa, did you keep it? unless the body suffered major damage to compromise strength or floatation, it should be rebuildable, and from what ive seen they are quite capable little machines, although not real speedy.

    2011 Mid Ohio show

not positive i can make it, but just in case, is there anyone looking for any parts from the ambulance box of an M1010? got gurneys and the rack assembly out, and can take out the interior florescent or spotlights out before the meet if anyone is looking for them. or if theres some other part...

Change a tire in the woods jack recommendations

Hi-lift jacks are death traps at best. I've seen too many handles snap back up and vehicles fall off of them. I will highly agree that Hi-Lift and similar farm jacks can be dangerous, mainly when used by people who are not familiar with them or taught proper use and safety, and maintenence/...

i just want to clear some things up on the dreaded death-wobble, which i have experienced a few times, and due to funds and time have not fixed yet, but will be soon... if you have an M1009, your not going to be a victim of the "Dreaded Death Wobble" we are all talking about... this is something...

master cylinder upgrade without proportioning valve?

Thanks guys, thats the answer i was wanting, and im really hoping your right. id think my worstcase scenerio is going to be an issue with the rear brakes locking up, but in the dirt, especially with the insane hills where we ride, id rather deal with that than the fronts locking. at least if its...

    Lifted 1008 brakes

have you done the kingpin bushing/spring replacement in the D60 yet? alot of times its what causes the deathwobble, and maybe at least contributing to this along with the steering components that 12vctd suggests... but also could be a simple fix like Dogheads suggestion, esp if it became a...

Charlie's Truck and The Camper Apocalyptic

before buying my M1010, the original plan was to build a camper from an M35, or an M37(? i believe that was the long wheelbase designation...), and mount a Uhaul box, or preferrably a box from a moving truck used by Two Guys and a Truck, which has a higher roof allowing more headroom since i...

Aftermarket Turbo install versus 700R4 transmission swap...

Wrex, go turbo for sure, like the rest have said. 3.08s are just like having overdrive, essentially. and btw, i love your grill plate numbers... tempted to steal the idea since my M1010 is named Club Murder, but the novelty is lost when copied, so i will give you props for the idea instead, and...

    tall and narrow tires

Hey Leroy, what were you running those Swampers on? i think i just located a nice used set of 34x9r16's that im gonna grab to put on my M1010. its seems that i shouldnt have any problems rubbing since theyre so skinny, but i'll get a little better highway speed, offroad traction, and it'll look...

    New to SS

Hpdb, thats a great project, and im sure will be a blast when done!! i always loved the FAV buggys since i was a kid. most of my friends have or had railbuggys, and its amazing how capable they are offroad. we go to a place here in Ohio called Wellsville, and ive seen them do some truly...

    My EX-Police M1010

congrats on the M1010, Shrapnel, i too have one of its twin brothers... great truck, and even stock they will go places a truck its size has no business going!! seems we have a similar build plan, which is a quite common direction to go for most M1010 owners it seems. Firecontrol, youd be amazed...

    Tires

Super Swamper Boggers come in a 38.5/11r16... or Maxxis Buckshot Mudders in a 305-85r16 i believe it is. i picked up a set of those on 8 lug Wagon Wheels, but i may just get adaptors made to run the 8 lug wheel. dont forget to run tubes made for Radial or Bias-ply, according to what kind of tire...
