    What to do about GL driveshaft?

    I bought 2 GL trucks with bent shifts, could't tell when I inspected them, had to replace both shafts from junk yards for about $220 each.

    Anyone coming to Aberdeen in May, I have a ton of almost new canvas shelter halves that make execllent seat covers. Just need someone with a needle and od green thread. I plan on bringing the shelter halves. some are new in the box.:-D

    Question; Is this also called a temp sensor? Where can I buy one? My truck is hard to start when cold and my mechanic sain he needs to replace the temp senser

    Thanks for the info, I need the temp sensor for the cold advance, I saw teh one you suggested on the Parts Plus, but thy are 3/4's 14 ,and 3/8's 18 thread. My mechanic asid I need a 5/8's thread. Did the one from Parts Plus Auto fit your truck? I tried teh GM # you posted and came up empty. Thanks

    Anyone have a source and part number for the temp sensor for a M1008 6.2 diesel? My mechanic says the parts store keeps sending him a standard TX47 that will not fit . He said it requires a 5/8ths thread. Thanks

    Fort Indiantown Gap, Weekend

    Same thing with mine, death wobble, was told that the front springs were worn out on the truck.

    rear tailgate window problems

    I have mine all apart same problem, got over a hundred parts and don't feel like trying to put that mess together. For now I use a sheet of plastic with lots of duck tape.

    water in rear diff.

    I had the same issues with a couple of CUCV's I bought, I cleaned out the rear and replaced the gaskets, filled with gear gear oil. Best to change all fluids on these old trucks.

    Use Gate off 175 Sorry for the back gate advise, maybe I get by with a retiree's ID. Main gate is on Rt. 175.

    Having this problem with my cucv fuel guage, when I picked the truck up the guage worked, now it stays stuck way past full with only 1/2 tank. Is this the guage or the float stuck? (86 cucv pu)

    Mounting antenna bracket

    It figures, the parts truck to took them off of wre no problem all 3 brackets unscrewed and the bracket came right off.

    Any suggestions to this minor problem? I tried to remove the 4 bolts that are in place on my CUCV that would hould the antenna mounting bracket. When I try to back out the bolts to mount the bracket only one bolt comes out the other three keep turning. There is no way to access the back of the...
