Wow !!!! Nice catch !!! ...... How did the 1009 tow with the trailer ?? Those trucks look real good ...... Tim
M1075 is being nice and not pointing out my SNAFU. 1009 & trailer pulled great once I took it out of park! :shock: :shock: I took off in the parking lot making sure everything...
Excellent guys, thanks for the help! :D I have a "programable event timer" that I bought, It has the capability to be activated by a seperate circuit ("Motion Sensor) then it also has two seperate circuits it will activate once tripped. I will use one (Normally Off NO)with a positive charge...
Why is there a circuit breaker on the horn? Most of the circuits on the duece don't have any protection, why the horn?
The reason I ask is, I want to include my duece in my annual Halloween Haunted Trail. I plan to have my 2 dueces, jeep, & trailers lined up with the trail between them, then...
Floridianson, I hate them too!!! :D
2027Deuce, I have a few of those brass fittings. They are for my WWII Jeep (FORD GPW) but work on the MC of the Deuce. It's funny how there are so many simularities between my Jeep and the Deuce. The Brake and Clutch pedal setup looks the same, only...
I do not claim to be a “Fabricator” but here is how I mounted my tag to my deuce. I found a lighted mount (12 volts), on-line at JC Whitneys (Part# ZX889627W) for $10.99 then used the “Resources” link for the light bulb conversion. Went to NAPA and picked up a 24 volt bulb (464) to replace...
How come when I connect the "dogbone" between the two batteries there is a small arc? :shock: I thought I had some type of current draw or short somewhere but could find or hear nothing. I finally went to my second deuce and found that it does the same thing. It has set for days and the...
Something like that was what I had in mind. I'm not sure how wide it is but I would bet there is plenty room. It's a good reach from the driver to the passenger. A simple frame made out of angle then mount something like that to it and I'm set. Will check the measurements tonight when I get...
I recieved the SF 97 (Certificate to Obtain Title to a Vehicle) with the following;
Transferor : DRMS Battle Creek MI
Transferee: Gov Liquidation Eglin AFB, FL
I also had a State of Florida, "Motor VehicleTitle Reassignment Supplement" with the following;
Seller: Gov Liquidation Eglin...
I looked at the APC ones on Ebay, man that's a lot of engineering in those seats!!!! :shock: the price wasn't too bad but I would still have to fab some legs. I will probably fab something myself unless soneone comes up with another solution. Thanks for the help.
I want the springers for the older backs. :D The youngsters can handle the stiff ride. I might have to look at cutting down a bench seat. I also want some type of seat belt system but that should be a simple problem to fix.
Well maybe not a Jump Seat. :D I am looking for some type of seat to go between the two 'springers" in my Deuce. I need something for the youngsters when momma is riding with me. It would be nice if it had a console for storage under it. Anyone know of something on the civilian market that...
Bypass valve huh? Excellent! I learn something new everyday. :D I know exactly what you are talking about, we had the same type system on our helicopters.
Crows foot? So it will work on it? I don't have one but will buy one if it works. I was able to stick an open end wrench...
Both of my M35A2Cs have a slight leak from this bolt. What is it for and more importantly what tool can I use to tighten it? A socket will not go on it because the socket walls are too thick. Injector lines are also in the way. Is there a special tool or trick? Thanks.
PS: Sorry about...
Here are a few pictures of my trailer(M105A2) recovery from Tinker. I used my GMC Envoy and my friend (M1075) used his Miltary Blazer. The Envoy did well for the short run from Tinker to my house (Appx. 25 miles). We pulled these two home first, then I went back for my third one. :D
Anyone know if someone makes a cover for the back with no sides? I know I could roll the sides up but I would rather have a top with no sides. Also, want it to be military looking, not a blue tarp from Wal-Mart. I have to keep my passengers cool during the parade! :D Surely I'm not the...
I don't think it sat too long maybe 6 months, but who knows before then. I'll try putting some air tool lube in first to see what happens. If nothing it's good to know I can get the part at NAPApretty cheap. Thanks for the help.
