    My MEP-803a experience

If compressed air isn't enough, with how thick tank sludge can be taking it out is really the best option. You can disconnect the fuel line from it to the pump and inspect that first, before having to take the pickup out (in case the blockage is there).

    I'm an idiot!!! - Fermont MEP-802A 5kW

If you were impatient you could always make a quick jumper cable with alligator clips to jump the two pins together to see if it fires. I wouldn't... but you could.

    I'm an idiot!!! - Fermont MEP-802A 5kW

Does it spin by the dead crank switch?

No problem. Can't even ship the parts to you, for what Mouser lists them for. Hopefully you are operational soon.

Getting house ready for MEP-803 (or am I dumb?)

As I told the OP by private message, I actually sold this machine to the current owner in TX. It was completely gone through, load banked, tested, and confirmed as fully operational. The quad fuse you see came that way from reset (versus the panel mount most are familiar with). I have seen this...

    18k isuzu Drash Jenny

Well without any machine NSN or TM numbers to reference, just kind of shooting in the dark. Here is a universal pump you may be able to adapt: https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/airtex,E8131,fuel+pump,6256

    I'm an idiot!!! - Fermont MEP-802A 5kW

I have some black versions of it in stock new, you would just need to solder new wires to it (it has tabs, just like the OEM). If you were interested.

Auxiliary Fuel Operation MEP 803a Bubbling?

So the pump was inverted, or someone rerouted the fuel lines? One is a hard line, so thats not the easiest to accomplish. At least it was figured out.

    MEP-803A Alternator and Pulley

I don't see a keyway on the ID of that pulley, and the Leece Neville unit is keyed. FWIW

    MEP-803A Alternator and Pulley

Unfortunately it seems the one I thought I had I no longer do. Only pulleys that seem to be in stock at the moment are crank pulleys with the reverse rotation bolts. I even checked my rebuilt alternators boxed on the shelf, thinking I maybe sent it out... Nada. I will keep looking, and if I...

I may have one, I need to look.

    802 dies, no overload fault

So the metering pumps appear to be clocked correctly... one may be leaking slightly (or its the fuel hose going to the barb, but very slight).... how about the above photo though? Did you let out the tension on the frequency adjustment knob up front? That rotating assembly should be touching or...

    802 dies, no overload fault

Yes if you can take a photo of the position of where the main fuel lines (off the hard line from the filter) go into the metering pumps.

    802 dies, no overload fault

I wouldn't adjust the governor just yet. I suggest you put a full can of seafoam in the fuel tank, and run it at 70-75% rated current figure you call out (before the issues start happening) for as long as your fuel allows (or make sure the tank is at least half full) and run it till its almost...

    MEP-802/803 load bank info

I have no horse in the race, but I don't think he was tryin to come off that like. For whatever its worth.

    MEP-802/803 load bank info

If the machine is new to you, just get it up to operating temperature and step it up to 100% rated load at whatever interval works best for your days timing. Me? If its new, I get it to temp and have no issue getting it to max load ASAP... I only take my time if its new in my hands. As...

    MEP-802A GP Win

I may have a spare knob and set screw for that style switch. Will have to look around.

    MEP-806b missing display

I don't have experience with that set, but I am almost certain its critical to function. I would say those sets, at this point, are worth what their parts alone will bring. The engines being the most valuable piece.
