Is the hertz moving more than the .1hz you called out previously? Can you hear the engine RPM changing at all? Have you been through the -24 on the machine to read through "24. AC VOLTMETER (VOLTS AC) VOLTAGE FLUCTUATES." and "25. FREQUENCY METER (HERTZ) FREQUENCY FLUCTUATES."?
Have you checked the fuse behind the gauge panel to see (1) that its present, and (1) that its in working order? How is yours wired up now, can you share a photo?
How are you tying this to your dwelling, by a breaker interlock? The overload circuitry in the set acts like a breaker, shedding the load if drawn over a certain amount, over a certain time.
More often than not, the sets lack the fuel hose these days. Used to be sets had them in the doors, and often an extra (or two) unfurled in the engine bay tucked in.
I might have one available, if you dont want to fab one up locally with 5/16 JIC as called out.
Part of specifying the right genset for your needs are differentiating between the MUST RUN items, and the WANT TO RUN items. Those two lists are very different between each person. A balance between fuel burn, fuel storage, and typical (and planned for) outage lengths.
It is typically a bit...
Oh I see. Well maybe something outside of the box then... not sure what the OD of the muffler pipe is, but maybe a two piece flange that you can tighten correctly, then drill holes into the case for a final location...
Can you not just open the hole slightly and move on with life? Its for rain entry only really... if the hole is large enough the oscillation of the muffler will just not hit any sides.
