Curious as to why not being able to use HMMWV lug nuts.. The end taper on lug nuts seems to be similar.. Since both HMMWV wheels and these seem to be lug centric, why couldnt they be used ? Thanks for any input.. Im guessing too wide,, wonder if i could trim off half these ugly lugs and... -

Humvee floor mats
3/4 horse stall mat. Smooth side up so water can flow under mat easily to weep holes. Strong forearms and razor knife with metal straight edge. Lots of measuring. The added weight helps with stiff suspension and killing some rattles. I probably added 200lbs of matting. Nice option in my... -

Damper on air intake? shut off manually or electricly .. Question is, how much air do you havce to remove/stop to kill engine? I could get a damper to seal out maybe 80-85% of incoming air. I will probably toss in a fuel valve in cab where DWF hole is.. That still leave quite a bit of fuel... -

Can you determine if its leaking from inner or outter area? I use aviation sealer on the outter surface of my seals.. A biotch getting out, but no leaks there.. 2cents -

Drain all fluids.... Start fresh .. Good Batteries is a must !! Start it, run it, check for leaks, oil pressure, temp, fan engaging around 210.. Hit the road...Slowly ... And Have some Fun !!!!! Fellow 1989 owner,,,56xxx Late 1988 maybe early 1989 😂 -
