Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

I agree. The longer I have my truck, and the longer I am on this forum, the more I feel I need a backup part for everything.

Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

I might just buy one to put on the shelf for future use. I put a rebuilt trans in mine last year due to this same issue, so it might be worthwhile to have ready to go.

    m35A2 super single 395 install

How old are the tires you are running?

    m35A2 super single 395 install

My point was, with my truck singled, that I would still be able to drive it at a reduced speed for quite a ways, if one of the rears went flat. The tire isn't going anywhere with the beadlock. Plus, The other axle and the stiff side walls support it quite a bit. This has nothing to do with my...

    m35A2 super single 395 install

As a note, I see 18 wheelers singled every day. My truck is singled. I would think that aside from a catastrophic blowout, I'd be able to drive with the flat, assuming completely flat, slowly, for quite a distance. Especially if it is one of the rears that went flat. The tires are so stiff...

    Best for thinning WMO

If you let things settle for months, or years, will it all settle out on its own, and require only filtering? I have two 55 gallon drums mixed 4:1 with gas, they've been sitting for over a year, and wonder if I can just filter them down to a micron and run it.

Does The sludge in the valve cover look like this?

What are the current prices on LDT-465-1D rebuilt in crate

I paid $3k at the end of last year for a brand new multi fuel in the crate. Not a rebuild, brand new.

    Golf cart ramps

Off hand, I think the bed height is 52 inches. I'm running 395's. As for the cart, it's not at my house at the moment so I can't tell ya. But for reference, that lawn mower in the picture also drove up and down the ramps just fine. The mower deck dragged across the top lightly.

    Golf cart ramps

1998 Yamaha G16, all stock. Ive driven it on and backed it off on flat ground. It drags on the top if anything but me is in the cart.

    Golf cart ramps

I use 12 footers to load. I've put a golf cart in there with them too. Aluminum ramps from discountramp.com I bought 2nd hand on Craigslist. 6000lb capacity.

#2 Injector line was leaking at Hydraulic Head

Look, these trucks are not precision machines. If that's how you view it or you feel the need then by all means change the line. I have no issue there, everyone is entitled to their opinions. heck, i swapped in a new motor in leui of fixing a cracked block issue. But there is another option...

#2 Injector line was leaking at Hydraulic Head

I've posted my findings related to just replacing the bite fitting multiple times here on the forum, but is is regularly dismissed as an option by most people. Why, I'm not really sure. Seems people want to just replace the lines at what, $75 vs. using a $1 fitting. To each his own, I...

#2 Injector line was leaking at Hydraulic Head

Why would line length matter? It's fluid pressure. I could understand if it was a viscous material here, but it's not. A 1/4 inch or an inch isn't going to make a difference in my opinion besides when the lines are empty. It's positive displacement right?

#2 Injector line was leaking at Hydraulic Head

Sounds like this was resolved. The "ferrule" is replaceable. They are referred to as bite fittings. You need to cut off a portion of the tube though, so that the ferrule has a new place to seat. See Post #66 of my thread here...

Pros and cons of Battery Equalizer / Dual alternator

I have a vanner equalizer and I intend to wire it to charge and maintain a 3rd battery. It is switched on and off with the truck. I intend to run a small winch with the 3rd battery and whatever other 12v accessories I want. If it wasn't for the winch I am going to put I the bed, I'd use it as...

    Solenoid M35A3

Hello Hoefler, I have indeed read your thread. I thought that was the issue as well. But my copper disk is brand new, since the starter is also basically brand new as well. I think my issue lays elsewhere.

    Solenoid M35A3

So i continue to scratch my head on this one. I have taken the solenoid off a couple of times at this point, and no longer think the issue is rooted there. By the third time reinstalling after inspection, the truck wouldn't turn over still. I crossed the starter connection points to spin the...

    Solenoid M35A3

I am experiencing the same problems. Relay and solenoid clicks, but I get nothing else. The starter and this motor are NOS, the truck has been started maybe 20 times. I took off the solenoid with the starter in the truck. I opened it up, flipped the disc. Filed the legs down a bit and...
