I posted here in this thread at one point. I had alot of blowby, and ended up replacing my motor.
After extensive troubleshooting, my blowby was discovered to actually be mostly of coolant. I pressure checked everything, and no coolant was making its way into any combustion chamber, so with...
Ahhh. Yes.
I didn't even think about using that, and I have a box of them sitting here. Those are long enough to do what we need, they are 3 inches long or so? Cool.
Gimp,
I had a bald 14.5R on an a3 wheel crashing around in the bed, that I finally tried to put in the spare tire area. I am experiencing the same thing, where the tire hits the frame before the wheel hits the carrier. The long studs and spacer seems to be the easiest solution.
So the...
I have the 400w katz. It fits with no issues.
It has been 0 here for several weeks now. If I plug in for 4 hours prior, it starts normally. 2 hours preheat, it coughs and sputters but still lights off.
Unless you are prepared for a situation like this, I would steer clear of OD iron entirely. I had a similar experience as TsGtB.

I need what is pictured below;
I have a good C turbo take off sitting in a box. I bought it thinking that I was going to install it, but the truck makes so much noise as is, I second guess putting it on. And I do have a muffler installed. Why inflict more torture when long trips wear on you enough with the existing noise...
I am fairly sure it is a bad core. I flushed it along with the coolant system prior to this failure. A lot of rust came out of it. The flush probably opened up a pin hole.
I havent looked to see the failure mode just yet. It was putting steam into the cab on my return trip and dumping coolant into the engine bay, so I just turned the valves to isolate it off.
