It looks like W02-358-7059 would be the Firestone cross reference bag. That one is also unavailable.
The closest one I can find, at a good price, is W02-358-7083. Here are the specs...
How was it decided on that particular air bag, p/n 329666-01? There are a ton of air bags on ebay available, but that one in particular seems to be elusive. There are similar sized air bags, but not that one specifically other than someone selling used ones over priced.
What do the...
I agree. After putting about 500 miles on my truck over two trips last month, I had to do something about the seat. I bought an A3 seat, and am putting it on the springer base. I will also be putting the air bag in that is referenced above.
My input on the transmission was bad as well, and would put out gear only at highway speed into the bell housing. When I stopped, it would dump out. You would have to shut it off for the oil to come out of the clutch, flywheel and bellhousing. If I drove down the highway long enough, the...
Ive been chasing an antifreeze consumption issue since day one. This was resolved this week with a brand new zero mile crate motor.
In addition, the tranny was dumping fluid out the front input shaft. That was fixed with a government rebuilt tranny. I should be ok mechanicaly, running wise, for...
I want to update this thread with what was found. The trans was pulled and the front shaft had about a quarter inch of lateral movement. The front bearing and/or the main shaft were shot. You could rattle the shaft around with your hand.
I ended up with a replacement rebuilt trans, instead of...
Alright, thanks everyone. After searching the threads and reading what is posted, I am going to go with an A3 seat on the spring base. I will try out the air bag in place of the spring as well, that looks like a cool idea.
I did flip the wiper motors over, so they sit up higher than the glass. It did help some. But dropping the seat down an inch or two will probably do wonders.
So I just drove my M35a2 250 miles to drop it off at its destination. 6 hours in the saddle. During the last hour or two of the drive, my thoughts were primarily clouded with ways to make the truck more comfortable.
The springer seat isn't horrible really, but it also is not what I would call...
Road trip set for tomorrow. 250 miles to go and have another motor put in. Hopefully it makes it, I'm going to carry plenty of water.
I have to make this trip twice, again later to pick up the truck.
