In Ct, a winch truck with air assist in decent shape is worth around $7k. Maybe a bit less due to non turbo. There are alot of condition variables tho that would adjust price.
Ran my truck today and pulled the oil cap to see the blowby. My truck has about the same blowby as seen in the video.
Runs great. Source of blowby unknown.
This is excellent info here, thank you. I was wondering if I could wire my transfer switch to my hot water heater, which is 4500w, with my 701a. Of course, I cant run anything else, but I can heat the water and then turn it off and run everything else as normal.
I used a vanner equalizer. They commonly come off of transit buses and are sold used on the auction sites cheap. I think I paid $70 and its good for 60 amps.
There are other step down options though, if you intend for low draw.
You need 1/8 and 1/4 " npt plugs for the fuel lines in the manifold and at the ip. Not sure about the spark plug hole you speak of. I personally followed lt dans directions in his mod thread.
I haven't pony'd up the money for a 395 spare yet. I have desplined hubs on the front, in place of lockouts. I figure that if I get a flat anywhere on the truck, I can switch wheels around and run the smaller NDT spare on the front axle, since they are just free wheeling anyway. That would at...
Im with welldigger. Put the tire in place, and raise or lower the truck until it lines up. You just slide the wheel onto the hub. Its easy once you get the hang of it. It requires no heavy lifting at all.
