28MT starter, No thanks..I prefer the direct drive 27MT. The reason GM went to the gear reduction was cost savings and thats it. Not because they were better.
I have mine wired manually to an illuminated rocker switch. Did it because the system kicks down quickly, and there's a hill right by my house. The motor felt like it could use a little bit more on the cold advance, certainly goes better there, than with it kicked off. As soon as I'm up that...
Ahh..what? I have no issue with you regarding THAT..unfortunately $600 shipping to Canada was ridiculous. You said to give you a call if I could get a US address. So then, I finally found someone who had a US freight forwarding address across the border and would bring it back up for me. Sent...
Does any one know if a broken cable can be taken in and fixed at a bicycle shop? They should be able to swage ferrules on a new cable to a desired length.
In addition to having to throw my rear seat out as it was full of turds. The heater box had turds dropping out when I hit it with a vacuum. Took it apart, there was a mouse nest in it with a dead mouse jammed in the blend door.

Mine didn't have them either. Was told they are necessary along with the long support rod that goes to side of transfer case. Figured the Military didn't spec them to save a few dollars. Sourced the pieces at a wrecker, there are a few different sizes out there. So had to modify the two bell...
I was lucky that a member here had NOS cables for sale within the last year or so, search the threads you should find it. sorry, cant remember his name. Is it possible to take the cable to a bicycle shop and have them install a new wire with ends in the casing?
Yes, there is a large rubber grommet that seals the tube to water pump block-off plate. You don't have a CDR? Maybe you should think about getting one, its function is to keep a light vacuum against the engine seals. The 6.2 was designed to operate this way. You're asking for more oil leaks...
I'm assuming its a transmission cooler. The internal rad mounted cooler is less than optimal as it can only "cool" the ATF to 195 degrees. The shop that rebuilt my transmission, installed an auxiliary cooler. It was mounted to the radiator with some kind of straps that wrapped around the cores...
