I was thinking dual purpose if he went into total failure again, one working pump (even if incorrect) working solo. But you can move it around too. All in what you really want to do.
For an A unit, if you havent found it yet:

Even though they are expensive and the problem has been addressed and fixed, it might behoove you to put up (1) of the proper OEM pumps on your parts shelf for the future.
I might have a flywheel available, I don't know yet. I have an 803 here that may need a genhead replacement (haven't had time to diagnose it) and I have purchased a complete new genhead with flywheel for it.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with the pumps. The RF/EMI filters can definitely be a PITA. Cut them out, and get the cannon plug wired back up to the raw wire and see if they go (make sure you put back together in the most water tight way you are capable). I got in an 002 years ago fresh...
I have found that to be true for a lot of the Onan items that were 'absorbed' into the Cummins system... its barebones copy and pricing info, with no real interest in digging up details for those interested.
Well you tell me if a $2000+ purchase that is not as described, you would follow through with if you had to? 831s are no rare bird. If the OP wants one, very easy to acquire any day of the week whether on craigslist, ebay, or via a SS reseller.
Would you want to do business with a company who has told you to screw? I am SURE the original poster can find a machine he desires anywhere without these Ritchie Bros fools. Iron Planet keeps going down hill under their ownership... I have seen and experienced it first hand.
They have proven they arent calling you back (they never called me back either). Call them and demand they release you from the charge. If they blow you off again, credit card company does its thing. Don't let jerks have their way, I certainly wouldnt. You just got rock solid confirmation of...
I would call them, and get them to cancel the auction bid over the phone with you (with the cancellation confirmed by email). If they don't let the CC company handle it.
The quad fuse is not a good indication of anything frankly. There were TONS of low hour sets moved out years ago, for real short $. If I could only buy back every single one, at what I sold them for then!
Most small appliances feature auto switching transformers, working anywhere from 100v/50hz up to 240v/60hz. Either way the hertz gauge wont go down to 50hz on an 802, so while you can do so by manual manipulation with the throttle cable and a kill a watt meter to confirm, I would not recommend it.
