Use the search term " Electroswitch 75902LV MEP802a, MEP803a,MEP804a&b. Lifetime S-1 Main Start Switch" on ebay and you will see they are up there for a small ransom.

I would check the LOP switch as well as the overtemp switch behind the shutters. Both can be bypassed. Chainbreakers got a good list to work with.

You can get it below 60hz, but not down to 50. I don't recall which TM I read it in, I think it goes down to 56hz?

You use 230V Single phase in Europe, no 3PH correct? If you are looking for 230V single phase, you just need to reconfigure the machine. Then the issues comes to hertz though... this machine is designed to produce 60hz, not 50hz. On the rear of the panel behind the gauge flip down is the S8...

Anyone with a blue version should consider putting the better Electro Switch model in their part stock.

I'd love to get in on it, but I had placed an order for 2 (they held the old pricing for me... so I basically got one 'for free') just before I shared the info with you all. I hope more want to take advantage of it.

Got an EZ out in your arsenal? I dont know if thats a hardened bolt, but those things sure are convenient for messes like this.

And are your measurements unloaded, or under load?

Yes make sure you are running at the proper RPM, and verify the hertz being produced. Once your hertz are correct, you should be able to turn the voltage knob on the face of the machine to increase the voltage. Verify with a handheld meter or a cheap kill a watt, don't go solely by the factory...

Its probably not your switch. Its probably the magnetic contactor behind the S8 wall. They can act intermittently due to corrosion just like the rest of the set. Sometimes a very gentle persuasion with a rubber mallet helps clear things up (honest!) along with deoxidizing the visible contacts).

Thats like asking 'where is my government overreach'? Don't invite problems where they dont exist.
