So before I turn into the incredible hulk on the parts later... if the well nut is rotted, can the whole assembly just be pulled out of the tank, or will I have to remove the metal pieces sticking out, and push it backwards into the tank to remove?
So I stopped at Lowes this morning for a few things, and wanted to swing by the fastener aisle to locate some 3/4" washers. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-2-3-4-in-Steel-Machine-Bushing/1000364255
Going to test fit one over the weekend on an 803 that needs the well nut replaced. I think it...
2010 must have been a big reset year (or the start of the phase out and replacement) for the MEPs, which makes sense since 2011 was roll out for the new Cummins MEP units.

almost 20k procured in 2010
They are closed for the holiday break, but feel free to give them a call: http://www.ebycompany.com/binding-posts/terminal-stud.html
Last item in the chart should be what you are looking for.
The part that csheath identified is whats in the -24P, and its the terminal stud, nut, and small retaining insert. They do not call out the nut/insert piece separate.
On the other set... how long are you letting the fuel circulate? Let the pumps run for a few minutes... let the entire system try to purge itself before you crank again.
What setting do you have the large voltage reconnection switch set to, inside the operator control panel? Do you also have the voltage selector switch on the outside of the panel set to correspond to match with the interior setting? Might by why its not reading.

I have two or three sets here with oil pressure gauges pegged left. I have not evaluated WHY yet though (got two 10ks on their way out the door before I can get to the units with the oil gauge issues). I will do this though upon inspection. Thanks for the tip.
I do understand how the procurement side works, as I sell my own products to defense contractors every day. I make mention of it here in the forum purely as an FYI, as they do publish a crossover guide on their website. If they are ramping down or out of the gauge business for these sets...
Yeah I have at least 1 known good gauge here, that I intended on passing around through a couple sets that the oil gauge is registering nil. Thanks for the links though!
Yeah I posted that a while back. ;). Part of the issue is the oil pressure gauge on these sets (940109; 6620-01-368-1531) does not appear in that cross book.
I have to get a bit of time to swap the gauge out with a known working unit, to at least see if we are dealing with the gauge itself or not. Time is more valuable than gold around these parts.
