And I dont even have any idea of the fitting there is bad (I grab the set next Monday). But I am just trying to line everything up ahead of time. Thanks
I am asking about the fitting at the top of the block, and anywhere else that lines come to a junction. Does anyone have a reliable source of replacements? I've got a real nice 803 coming in with a ripping secondary leak that I need to change out in only a few days time to meet a deadline.
I've...
I have moved about a dozen sets out of PA in about 2.5 months. The skid units go for much more these days than the trailer units (on the whole), as they are easier to ship (like you said). And not everyone can tow (or WANT to tow) a set on a trailer. I can't wait for some semblance of pricing...
Oh, and they vary between $84.99 and $89.99/ea, depending on the day you look online (they are always $89.99 in store). Cheaper to buy online when the price has dropped, and just pick them up in store.
I pretty much use these exclusively on sets I go through now, that don't come with batteries: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/exide-classic-auto-truck-suv-battery-51rc
My local TSC never asks for a core, so its been all good in my books.
There are MANY things to look for. As others have said... dont be too concerned with the hour meter. Take a look at the condition of all gauges (and if through someone like Government Planet... if those gauges actually operate when they do their run video), and the overall condition of the...
Howdy folks. Been buying a bunch of different cans of spray paint from Army Jeep Parts lately. Got me to thinking... what is the color that is on the engine block of these sets? Is that something readily available if I wanted to touch a block up? It looks kind of like this to me (but I am...
Thanks Kenny. I found my spool of .312 connectors that I bought for my load bank project, and realized that what I needed was probably 1/4". Thanks for confirming.
I have a parts 802 that I just nipped the connector and part of the wire lead out of to make the fix on the fly.
I believe its fully functional. I heard it whine to start and smoke start to come out (so I shut it down)... had a fuel line on the genset spring a leak, so I havent been able to give it a run yet. I am kind of hoping for cold weather power loss now... is that wrong?
This one came from Drum (10th Mountain)... so maybe it was a set from the base, versus just being liquidated through it. I intend on keeping this set for my own use. I'll pull down the TBs for them at some point. Thanks as always Guy.
We hit -17 a couple years back (was closer to -42 with the wind chill). Seems like a nice option, if they are reliable. I surely wouldn't want to know how much this little box goes for as a replacement.
