New Bilsteins good rubber and proper Tire Pressure... still somewhat jarring ride.

I got Monroe gas magnums with lifetime warranty from Amazon. The rears were $40 a piece. The front I caught on sale for 15$ a piece. So I spent around $ 120 on shocks and they ride great. I splurged on a 50$ Rancho steering stabilizer. Very pricy on the bilsteins. I know they are good, but...

Dupont or Nason OD paint code?

My cousin runs the body shop my grandfather started. He said if I could get a paint code he could match it. He will be using urethane paint which supposedly doesn't fade. We will be using Dupont or Nason paint. I will be painting grille, bumpers, mirrors and brushgaurds flat black. They are off...

I am about to paint my pink 1008 back to OD. Does anyone know a Dupont paint code that would match the OD from the factory? I am trying to find the paint code so we don't have to color match it. I have already painted the inside of my new driver door with Rapco 383 green carc substitute. If I...

I got my pink 1008 for under 3k. 57000 miles. Forest service had it painted red and now it is pink. Soon to be OD again. Original wiring and most everything else. I am in Missouri, so m1008's could be more plentiful.

Looking for some insight on a M1008

WAY off topic but, Each blade of grass contains nutrients, (nitrogen, phosphourus, potassium, etc) and these are derived from your soil. If you remove grass clippings from your property, then the nutrients are removed from the area as well. Over time this depletes your soil. Usually grass...

Folks you can still get a US made thermostat from GM for under $15. I got one in Feb 2018. It was ac Delco and looked exactly like my original one from 86. I believe it took a day or two for dealer to receive. My dad, who is a mechanic with over 50 years of experience warned me about problems...

By the way I did get original thermostat and trans filter kit from GM. It can be worth checking on some general items. Hope you have a good parts guy and ask them to do a parts locator of dealer inventories.
