I was part of a Jeep group and we did a trail cleanup. There were sites along a lot of the trails. Don't remeber the names of the trails.
I'd like to stay with everyone but knowing me, I am going to be late and just wondering if URE still has the sites along the trails.
I towed one of my m-105s with an old Range Rover. I dad to open the tailgate on the trailer to get up to 50mph. It was acting like a parachute back there I think.
Big red/green is back to life. Replace the ignition module and set the timing. Running good.
The ignition module melted.....puked all over the inner fender. What the heck is in these things? How did I miss that mess while troubleshooting??
Yup, they have fixed yoke and are the NP218s. Had a question from someone about putting it into a late model H-1. I told him anything is possible but it would be a step down from what was in his. Is that a correct statement? His is a 2000 H1.
thanks
big red/green is still a no/go.
Replaced the pickup with no change. The pickup was reading shorted until I got the distributer out. Replaced it anyway.
Voltage at the coil is only 6 volts.....whats up with that?? I ran 12 volts from the battery to try and start. Still no spark.
Wires...
Hey there,
I am a P-3 guy from Maine too (except it was YEARS ago)!!! It's when they stop leaking that you worry, just like the orion. So far, other than the parts being bigger, the Deuce is just like any old truck.
Also, saw a video of the P-8's first flight. Pretty cool.
Well, I got it running pretty good but after flushing the radiator, it sprung/uncovers a LOT of leaks near the bottom. Took it to the radiator shop where they repaired it. Installed it again, same leaks. Took it back again and he said that he had to close three tubes near the tank but that it...
Yeah, she's a good helper. I got here to work on painting because her Jeepster was taking up all of my time. Pay backs....
Paint is from Walmart: Cammo Green
Well, big red is becoming big green.
I started stripping the red but it uncovered a LOT of bondo and rust. Figured for now, green over the top would suffice.
Looking for new fenders, doors, hood......
While taking off the red, I uncovered the funniest looking cammo job. Looks like they...
I have a 14 rear and a 44 front with 4:10.
Little low for the 36" tires but might be moving to 38's even though the 44 won't like it. Wish I did a 60 in the front.
Looks Great
Any issues with hitting the front fenders yet?? I have cut the heck out of mine and I still hit but I only have about 5 inches of lft on 36 inch tires.
