Deuce to a 8' Pickup Truck

Be patient, do your research, and you'll have a Deuce someday. Focus on the USMC! Seriously, they are a handful at times, requiring lots of time and money to repair and maintain. I bought my first about 18 months ago at age 42 and have wanted one for 20 years. Good luck and Semper Fi.

    A2 vs A3, Newbie Questions

Lots of information in the above thread, as well as many other threads. I went with A3 because of the deal I got on it. The A3 has a CTIS system that often is the source of wheel leaks. It can be fixed or disconnected. Also, wheel bearings are really expensive if needed due to the CTIS. You can...

    My 151 went topless....

Thanks guys! The Mutt is nice, only one rust spot behind the driver's side bumper. Going to have that fixed soon. The underneath is perfect. The pictures make it look better than in person....someone prior to me owning it painted it with a brush. After I do everything I can mechanically, I'm...

    My 151 went topless....

Did a lot of tinkering today. Mounted the radio, took off the top, did some maintenance. These are really neat vehicles. I think I need to align the front end. I have all new ball joints in the event I need any. I have brand new Firestones, so I want them to wear properly. I doesn't pull or...

Trying to get insurance & tag for my MUTT..

I didn't have any trouble insuring mine but it did come w/title. If your company won't do it, try another. There are lots of threads on it (different companies). When I bought my deuce, I had insurance with State Farm and they agreed to insure it. A few months later, I was notified that they...

    A 300 mile drive?

I have a 151A2. I would trailer it. If something happened to your investment that would be bad.
