I won it a Ft Meade and towed it home. This was my 5th trailer recovery and I have towed them all home.

Picked it up on Friday. All parts seem to be there on the unit, with ground rod and external fuel hose and adapter in tool box. Trailer has new brake handles and tires. The brakes worked well on the ride home. Now to get it running.

I've sold them for $600 with bows and tarp. I moved mine while the $700+ ones were still listed months later. It seems like the bid prices around here have gone through the roof as I never bid more than $300 2 years ago. Have you previewed the lots? Some of the trailers in the 3 for 1 bid...

Well then, no damage. I don't know the laws in your state, but in my AO, it's illegal to park an unregistered/licensed trailer on the road. In fact, the owner is often held liable if someone hits their illegally parked trailer.

So you had an unregistered trailer sitting on a public road? Do you have insurance covering the trailer?

Doesn't work that way either, your time and work won't be considered. Repaint you car, put a new motor or transmission in and guess what? You're still getting the the value of the car, not that value plus the upgrades. That's the reality. Better add a rider to your insurance.

Does the trailer have plates?

Maybe you will rear end me one day and I can go from a suburban to a Lamborghini . Upgrade and make you pay for it. :doghead: unfortunately insurance companies just don't work that way. :cookoo:

Searching by state just got harder and the view other lots available being gone sucks.

PA by far has the worst roads in the country. When crossing the Mason Dixon line into PA and the road would go from smooth to crappy.

The surge brakes on my A3 stop the trailer great. Even with 2 yards of dirt on it I can feel it pulling on the tow vehicle.

Take them to a welding shop and they will fix them up for cheaper than you can buy.
