Sorry DownRange762, It sold last year. I'll be having a whole mk2/3 Ferret for sale someday if I ever get off my butt and get it registered. The mk1/2 turret went for 1300 iirc.
You can get pretty much any caliber online if you have a couple days to look out for it. The biggest issue is cost, .223 is going for .70-1.10/rd, .308 is in the same ballpark. Surprisingly, The hardest ammo to get is .22LR

I have 4 extra empty 7.62x54R ammo cases if anyone wants them for anything I will throw them in the back of my truck and bring them out. Just let me know.
Ill be out Saturday with the 1919, i wont have extra .308 but if you have your own you'll be welcome to shoot it. Ill be working on getting the mg3 ground mount working and sighted in, but i will bring the AA tripod and 1919A6 configuration as well.
Marcus Glenn in the UK pretty much has all parts. Getting whole carbs (Solex 70) is tough but I do see them on ebay UK every once and awhile. Bannisters will also help with the non-military parts but he doesn't have an export license so if you start getting into parts he can't export he will...
Whats the relationship between the truck and tankland, they just helping out or its owned by the museum? I went there back in February or so to check out the V-100 (was considering buying one), very cool place and I got to meet Craig and he was very generous to share some stories. I've since...
I was standing next to the Bradley mock up from that movie back in February. The Defense Department thought it was real and sent inspectors to confiscate it. It's probably for sale if anyone ever wanted it.
Rented a trailer and got the Ferret trailered up, I think backing in would have been a bit better but the tolerances were so tight on the trailer, literally I had an inch either side that I had to go forward to get it right.
Had to cross the front chains because the run was too short for the...
Was the basic issue here the wrong trailer for the load? I dont think he could have shifted the load much further forward.
40% load is on the tongue? I thought it was 10-15% of total weight should be on the tongue? I think my hitch tongue rating is only something like 1k or 1.5k
I did a lot of research on owning a Ferret (which I consider the smallest, most affordable armor on the market) and I still learned more in one day or ownership than the last 6 months of research. It could be that my research only brought me so far and the hands on just took it to another level...
