Someone from Liquidity services sent me some links about it, one shows the gov paid 27k for each suspension upgrade.

From what i have been seeing, they were all rebuilt between 04 and 08. So far all have the non turbo 6.5's. I might try to pick another one up too! Let's keep this between us! Lol! I have been waiting 3 weeks so far for the EUC to clear so I can go get it though. Chomping at the bit a little.

Good info! It is clear from all this, military vehicles are exempted from the standards for the life of the vehicle. They have only segregated the m151 and hmmwv as a "policy" not a law. So someone somewhere made that policy, which is not enforcable since is not a law. Which is why that guy won...

I did some quick interweb searches and saw a slantback in the pics. Tonight I was digging deeper and saw the actual trucks pre stripping. They are obviously two different trucks. My 1088 i had registered, she warned me they were starting to come after MV's of all types. The HMMWV I just bought cannot be registered in NY at all.
