U-Joint on the rear driveshaft yoke?

Thanks for all the info. AutoZone gave me one for a 84 3/4 SUB and it did not fit. But these are the "fun" things about owning a MV.

    Gen 2 and Voltmeter relays

Auto Zone had the relays out near the "urban" lighting area. They were $4.99 each. As for the starter relay, dont fool with it. I took mine out and put a 60A starter switch ($10 @ auto zone) in. I drilled a hole with a step drill next to the voltmeter. Turn key to on position, press button.

Trying to get the D*** brake drums off...

The problem is there are no holes on the back side of the axle to loosen the brakes up. After a night of letting PB do its work, they both come off with a few firm whacks of a hammer. Now I'm about 1/3 of the way into the job. Going back out to pull the c clamp that holds the axle. Fun...

Trying to get the D*** brake drums off...

You would SWEAR these things have never been off in 25 years! It finally got too late to keep pounding on them so I will start again in the morning. I put some PB Blaster on the lugs and hub area to soak. I have to remove them to facilitate a rear wheel bearing replacement. I started to get a...

M1009 shut off like ran out of fuel

Check for voltage at pink lead on fuel injector pump fuel shutoff solenoid while assistant cranks engine. There should be at least 9 volts. If voltage is not correct, trace circuit. (See wiring diagram E-3 or E-5) If voltage is correct, perform step 2. Disconnect pink lead from fuel injector...

Where are the fuseable links located?

I cant get the charging system to work properly. Last night I found someone removed the bosch relays under the dash, so I replaced them. I saw the diagram with them listed, I was just wondering about the physical location under the hood. I have a M1009.

    The CUCV in Showtime's Jeremiah

Looks like it had no rear window also. Would be covered with canvas with a plastic window. Troop seats in it also. Pretty slick looking setup if you ask me... If you have never watch it, and you are into TEOTW type stuff, its pretty good.

    The CUCV in Showtime's Jeremiah

It had a very unusual rack/roll bar setup on it. It also had a open roof that was covered with canvas. I know this was filmed in Canada. Is this a mod Canadians made to their 1008's or is it for TV?
