When you decide to paint, let me know. I would assume you will attempt to use CARC. We can do a two for one paint day.

    Odd M1009 Charging issue

The next time I have my dash off I will look to see if my GEN2 lead is burnt also... Good Find! Also, If I might suggest, ditch the starter relay under the dash and wire in a 60amp push button starter switch. I installed mine up by the volt meter at first, but then I installed a temp gauge...

    Odd M1009 Charging issue

I wish you luck dude... I will add that my GEN2 light has NEVER come one even after bulb replacement and cleaning the contacts... I would suggest changing the charging relays for GEN1 and GEN2. These are located under the dash next to the starter relay. Pull one out and take it with you to...

    Clicking after Start

When the motor is cold, the truck does a "afterglow" cycle on the glow plugs until things warm up a bit. It sounds like a solenoid click ~ 5 to 7 seconds ~ click again, correct? Then it repeats in 15 - 20 seconds...

Would these wheels work on a 1009?

I was more talking about the wheel itself. If these will fit, then a 16inch wheel will also. I'm a cheap ass and I can find used 16inch tires easier than 15 inch tires... I just have to be sure to check the backspacing.

Catastrophic failure of passenger side alternator mounting assy...

On the way back from the coast today, Maggie gave me a scare... Driving along I hear a "whap, whap, whap" then the sound of hardware hitting the blacktop. I see the rather long bolt fall out of the truck onto the ground so I walk back and get it. Turns out this bolt is the pivot bolt for the...
