    help in ohio

Was this a legal place to wheel? I DO NOT condone any type of vehiclular sabotage whatsoever, but if a frustrated property owner confronted with too many trespassers finally had enough, that may be a factor. Really sucks that this had to happen to your truck. Whoever did this will get...

Nothing like a 12,000 lb stuck to make you really appreciate traction.......

Yep, seen 'em like an hourglass. Not a good thing if they give up!

    Deuce Air Supply

My A2 will run most air tools for short bursts. The big 1" impact will drain the tanks pretty fast, and my air operated pump will only work for about 20-30 seconds before the air pressure drops off. I'd definitely add a bigger tank if you plan on using much air for the real air-hog tools...

    Master Cylinder Warning!!!!!!!!!

I've used a fair amount of NewStar products without issue. Maybe the lockring wasn't seated fully in the M/C piston? That sounds like the only explanation for that happening. Do a postmortem and see what you find.

    Most Common Rust Problem Areas

Bottoms of the doors, sills under the doors, floor seams, front fender seams where the spotwelds hold the bracing underneath to name a few places.....

Was told to get "back-up" lights, so,,,,,,

Nice looking install! That is exactly what I did for a plate light. Just a NAPA unit with a 24V bulb. When I get around to painting, I'll spray it Desert Sand too. Never notice it wasn't stock. Here in VA, the law for backup lights is: If they are installed they must work when reverse is...

    va to pa

If it isn't dead, its only about 4 hours drive to Richmond from H'burg. Course that's 6 hours as the Deuce flies.

    Water in knuckle

I'd get in there and do a clean-out and repack were it me, along with new boots and clamps. Be sure to clean the boots, axle tube and knuckle surfaces really well before installing the new boots and install them dry. That way they won't try to slip off.

    Brake issues on a M35A2

I'm going to second Chicklin's response. When I bought my deuce, the owner told me that the low pedal and lack of stopping was just because the "brakes need to be bled." I knew better anyway, and pulled all ten tires and six drums. What I found was that most of the wheel cylinders were...

    Saturn Surplus Shortage

My experience with Saturn has been great on the telephone, but ordering from their website is not worth the trouble. I think the orders get forgotten or shuffled in the e-mail pile. Call and you usually get exactly what you need within a week.

What collection pump should I get for WMO?

What kind of pressure are you using? I've distorted new 55 gallon drums by pressurizing them. Always worries me about any questionable older drums too.

    sustained top speed

I find that I can run at 55MPH on flat ground in my M35A2, but if I keep my foot in it for an extended period, the pyro temps will creep up around 1100F doing it. The engine sounds fine the coolant temp is great, the oil pressure is fine, and the truck drives OK, but the exhaust temperature...

    100% used motor oil fuel.

At 1 GPM, you're going to be there a while too. That pump is for spraying duties. Generally they won't pump very well with higher viscosity fluids like oil. They also usually aren't self-priming, which means they won't pick oil up a long pickup tube in say a barrel or tank. Most spray rigs have...

Going from the oil pan to the fuel tank

I think you'd be better off letting it sit a bit in a seperate container to let some of the solids settle out first before filtering, then add it to your fuel tank. Just my .02.......

    Deuce overheating help.

If the radiator isn't getting hot and the gauge says the temp is around 200, you have one of a couple issues: The thermostat is not opening. I don't think it will physically fit backward because the spring end won't fit into the seal. The coolant isn't circulating. Even if the pump...

    Diesel VS Gas

Gasser = 4MPG, very sluggish uphill, carbureted, leaky exhaust manifolds.

Its amazing what a difference just the D turbo makes alone. With a muffler you could probably actually have a conversation with a passenger...:-D

With a C motor I can't hear anything except the turbo.....A stereo would be pretty useless for me except standing still.
