Another bobber project! And another wasted bed!

Do you happen to have the metal splash guards from the Deuce bed, that the rubber mudflaps mount to? If so, would you be willing to part with them? Thanks!

    Prestolite alternator install.

According to the manufacturer's literature (http://www.atelierdynamo.com/bulletins/2010-01-12%20PP-1184-Us%20Guide%20de%20l'acheteur%202010%20Leece-Neville.pdf), these are "Special AC terminal for connection of tachometers and other instruments." Looks like a good unit, the more I read about...

    Need size on fuel line

What Bill said.... I replaced mine with 3/8 flexible fuel line, but want to do just what Bill did to delay the effects of dry-rotting in the desert....most of the fittings are pretty standard, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts.

    Detroit Diesel 6V-71

Ruppster, THANK YOU for the ATHS referral! I've got a DD 4-53T in an '86 GMC 3/4-ton pickup I'm refurbishing...it was my Grandfather's until earlier this year, when I inherited it. It had been sitting for several years and was in rough shape; he originally had it converted back in the late...

    Undercoating on M105 Trailer Question

I have 5 M105A2 trailers. Every one has undercoating on the bottom of the bed, but not the frame. $300 for that M105 with sides, bows, and cover tarp is a good deal!!

Civy wiper conversion with OD paint

Found the wiper arms through O'Reilly's and the wiper blades through a vendor on Amazon.com. I think the total came to less than $35 for everything.

    Detroit Diesel 6V-71

My local CarQuest carries straight-weight 40wt oil in quart bottles; I buy it by the case and it's cheaper than any of the multi-grades for diesels. Getting ready to rehab my Grandfather's old 4-53T.

    Cheaper than a tow truck!!

Dang, I gotta get my Deuce up & running in case this happens again...would save you $60 anyway.

Thanks for sharing the photos; your quality of work is outstanding! You've motivated me to get mine done before it hits the road.

    100 dallar man deuce

You won't be disappointed; he's a stand-up guy, and even though I was just there a few weeks ago to buy parts only, he pretty much encouraged me to look wherever I wanted and gave me free reign. Usually only folks very confident in their quality of work are that comfortable with strangers...

    100 dallar man deuce

Depends on the waiver the buyer signs upon purchase. I got the impression that local & state regulations were wearing him down and he's just getting tired of the paperwork. If he deals in parts and tires only, there's not as much paperwork involved and the headaches are fewer.

    100 dallar man deuce

I've been to his facility and chatted with Hundy & BJ (who does the bobbed conversions & lots of mechanical work); TOP-NOTCH fellows, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase something from the 100DollarMan. If you're considering buying one of his trucks, he did mention to me that he's thinking of...

Great deal on used 9x20 NDT tires with wheels in SoCal

PMs sent to each of you; let me know if they didn't come through or if you have any additional questions. I don't have any affiliation with the sellers, but it's such a good deal that I just want to share it with other members here...that's all. I'm on a limited budget so deals like these are...

Great deal on used 9x20 NDT tires with wheels in SoCal

I don't have any idea. But you can go to SearchTempest.com and put in how far from your ZIP code you want to search Craigslist ads. That's how I found this deal and how I found my Deuce. Very handy, and some good deals can be found. I typically scour SearchTempest once every couple of days...
