Hey guys, finally got my motor swapped out and put a 6.5 turbo on it. man what a difference! why didnt i do this a long time ago? anyway, i noticed yesterday that after i turned her off that i had smoke coming out the air filter. is this normal?

yes, re-installed all lines. I am going to double check them at lunch. when I got off the freeway I hit one light coming off that light is when I noticed I had high rpms and little shift action. fingers are crossed that its just a line. tranny ran fine before motor swap.

where exactly is that located? I just did an ehgine swap and was out for a test drive. The truck was shifting hard and would cycle thru all gears. I got off the freeway and now dont have 3rd.

I just drained my transfer case this weekend and it had gear oil in it (84 cucv). I came on here to verify if it was gear oil or 30w. now im finding out it is supposed to be atf. will putting in atf after having gear oil in it screw it up?

im about to crawl under her again today. if I cant figure out how to divert the oil line the 6.2 is going back in.

So I installed the turbo and saved the drivers side exhaust manifold for last. i am swapping out the 6.2 for a 6.5. I found out today that the 6.5 hits my oil cooler line. has anyone over come this issue or did you just leave the driver 6.2?
