Any idea of how old he was when he flew the raid? Some of our pilots throughout the war, and in both theaters were all of 18.

You are right, Tracer. I didn't think it would be sad. But then when you see how the airframe was changed, it just is NOT the same aircraft. It's not "pretty" anymore. And that is sad.
