    They do use the common light in the cluster mounting plate. I have seen other mount some red LEDs to the housings. Maybe I can find the thread.

    How to remove the Fuel Shutoff Rod on the IP

    The plunger (when it is not sticking) will fall to the bottom. This requires the rod to be reinserted with the arm in the 4-5 o'clock position. This allows the pin to engage the plunger. A little oil on the o-ring is all that is needed. The rest will be self lubricated when the engine is running.

    Before replacing any of you plugs, verify that a "good" controller card is installed and the the system is working correctly. There is a step-by-step procedure in chapter 2 of TM 9-2320-289-20 tech manual for the controller card system. I say this because of the paper you found in the truck.
