Help on 5/4 ton CUCV purchase

Not a problem. That is why I was just reminding everyone about the rule. Too many times it gets mentioned and then many people get caught up in it and fall down the rabbit hole and thye get lost discussing it. There are many other websites for those types of discussions. This site is not one of...

    Milsurp Okies Roll Call?

With the age of the MVs and the amount of fuel they burn I do not know if you would find any takers. But it is a great idea. You are welcome to head this up. I use to be a member of the Oklahoma Rt 66 club and have taken many trips across Oklahoma. One time I even took a motor home. Ended up at...

Help on 5/4 ton CUCV purchase

The 6.2L diesel is a strong little engine it was never designed to haul BIG items and rev much past 2500 rpms. It was designed to sip fuel. The Ford seems too nice to take into the woods but I think you would be happier with it. Also I edited your post as one of the forum rules does not allow...

Advise on value and anything else - 1986 HMMWV

Welcome to the site. I would make sure the fire department does have the right to sell the truck. It all depends on the program they acquired it under from the Forestry Service. Looks like $5K-$10K from a quick look at your pictures. Also you need to edit your user profile to reflect your...

Hi all, had some start up issues, requesting Sage advice
