Most MV buyers of the bigger truck, believe it or not, are people who are going to use the trucks for work. It is much easier to use a 5-ton for work with a buyer-installed flatbed than a van body with a small door in back.
Last Friday, just down the road from me a guy driving an SUV was texting on his cellphone, crossed the center line and plowed facefirst into an oncoming dump truck. He was killed instantly, the dump truck driver wasn't charged with anything and only had to buff the brain matter off his front...
Just kidding about the preview and the cracked block - I'm sure it's a great truck. Tried to get a few laughs from other folks, it didn't work. Probably cuz some of us here HAVE been burned on trucks that had hidden problems. Oh well. Enjoy the new rig....
And announcing the newest candidate for a one-way trip to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in sunny Tucson AZ!
He really should put a set of NDTs on that bird if he's gonna go offroad like that. Get much better traction in the dirt.
Sorry, couldn't help myself - there was a number of threads earlier this year by someone who had a virus or had their account hacked, and 20 threads had "I have dueces for sale at http://www.calguns.net" posted in them at the same moment. It was interesting, to say the least.

Same here - otherwise it says I haven't typed anything. Normally I'd send a PM to the site admin, but we all know mangus is a no-load who won't do anything anyways.
I forgot I took this one - old proof roller that was parked behind Roman's Surplus in Chambersburg, PA a few years back. Since gone, not sure if scrapped or saved. But it still had the Army star on the side.
Pics of a LeTourneau Model "D" Tournapull that is on eBay now. I don't know if this one was ever a genuine military vet (though it does have one rear tire that is an NDT). Also pics of a restored one that showed up at a Historical Construction Equipment Assn. event several years back.
Found this pics online - they were from a gentleman who worked at the LeTourneau plant back in 1961-2, and took these nice color pictures (along with dozens of others from the plant) but I thought these were interesting. Shows old Sherman tanks, and other tracked vehicles, that had been turned...
Couple pics from different shows I was at - looks like an airborne dozer, same model, I believe it's made by Clark. Same owner? Don't know. One was taken at Aberdeen, one at Gilbert.
