Soni's old M880 clone (ok, it was actually a '76 Ramcharger) featured in several mags. I liked the original engine, the 426 Hemi, but to be honest, I would drop a 5.9 Cummins in it and roll....
Just a note:
If you're interested in doing a restoration and want the proper can for anything before 1990, the metal can is what you want.
If you don't care about originality and want to use the can instead, the plastic ones are much better.

I'm definitely in this year, no matter what, but I can safely say I will not be driving the deuce there. My back just can't take 16-hour long trips in the deuce anymore. 3-5 hours I can do okay, but after 2/3 of a day I'm in pretty bad pain. Not sure what I'll be taking instead.
