Air ride suspension on a deuce

Wondering if anyone has ever gone to the trouble to install a big truck air ride suspension on their deuce. This would be the black balloon-looking air bags that are used on big rigs above the main springpacks to soften the ride.

    How many deuce seats

Can't quite tell, but the last pic looks like a variation of the box seat, but with a tube frame. Can you get some other pics of it? Also keep an eye out for HEMTT seats. They obviously are not original, but they can easily be found in the hundreds of HEMTT cabs that have been auctioned off...

Deuce in a mud puddle vid

So, I guess that's what mud is like in Massachusetts. Really light and a Prius can get through it. Here's some pics of Virginia mud and our MVs.

What Model - Dually CUCV Pickup

How much weight can those M1028A2/3s carry safely? Can they be used adequately with a gooseneck trailer and a fifth wheel hitch?

    Yellow paint.....why?

My guess: looks to be that those are components that should have "NO STEP" stenciled on them. Perhaps the operator spray painted them yellow to prevent some klutz from stepping somewhere he shouldn't when the hood is up.

    Parts needed for M551 Sheridan

David Yamulla advertises in MVM. He has tons of tank parts, might have what you need.

11.0-20 NDTs on a deuce, good idea?

Someone told me a while back you would notice a significant reduction in torque if you mounted larger tires on a deuce. ????

What is little canister under dash?

Sounds like the air cleaner indicator. If it shows yellow or red, the air flow is restricted by a dirty air cleaner element. Time to change the air filter!

    sustained top speed

Top speed for me is told by the rpms, not the speed. Most figure top speed is around 2500 rpm, just below redline, about 55-57 mph. I keep mine around 2300 rpm, around 52 mph, just for the sake of keeping the stress on the engine a little lower. I'm only going to lose a few minutes on a trip...

What do you do with an M332?

It's not heavy. The M105 trailer is 2440 pounds empty. The M332 ammo trailer is 2800 pounds empty - not that much more. It tows like pulling a jeep behind you, you don't even know it's back there. The up side to the M332 trailer, is that it is low to the ground. If you have a lot of heavy...

    Saturn Surplus Shortage

I have heard great things about the owner, but the thing is, the owner is never there. Not sure the name of the low-level wonk is who works there, but he is pretty lousy in his caring for customers when you show up. He almost has an attitude of, "what are you doing here?" when you come in the...

    Yet another trip to Coleman's

Perhaps he installed a new cable on his winch spool, and needs to install the clevis. :?:

    Yet another trip to Coleman's

Oh, the pic of the 50ton tractor tool boxes and spare tire racks was at TNJ Murray last week, not Colemans. Sorry.

    Yet another trip to Coleman's

Going up to Coleman's yard again on Friday with ShieldWolf37. I plan on picking up the following: any towbars or towbar-related items (feet, pins, etc.) any boarding ladders winch I saw sinking into the ground in the back wrecker spade bars - saw a pair back there last time items I know...
