Just an update here. I had to restart the process due to Someone at GP losing the original EUC. I found out the updates come out every Tuesday, so check the site for your EUC status then. Their EUC guy Dave is great, very helpful.

Here's an update in case it helps anyone else who has a HMMWV that went through the R&R program. I spoke with Maine and got some info:
They installed a new factory GM 6.5 engine. Transmission is new as well. All other components were remanufactured. It was a M998 2man and it was converted to a...
Interesting, thanks. Is there anything that would be placed on the vehicle that would identify it as a 2007, rather than a 1987, for registration and identification purposes? Or should I proceed with registering it as a 1987?
Yeah I called Maine and they confirmed it was a complete frame-off restore. Everything. New motor, driveline, everything. I found this site that explains it all pretty well.

Thanks fellas!
Awesome, thanks guys. I got the MWO's, but am trying to find out what was done in the "Overhaul". Engine, driveline, etc. Anyone familiar with the standard procedures and what constitutes putting an Overhaul plate on a M998?
Hello, I am trying to figure out exactly what was included in the "overhaul" on my M998. Here's a picture of the plate, indicating that the vehicle was overhauled at M.M.A. on 8/07. What would have been done in the overhaul, and what/where is "MMA"?
Thanks!

Thanks. Since the 87s had 6.2L engines, and the truck has a 6.5L engine now, I figured it was replaced. Sounds like that wouldn't have been listed as a MWO, but am assuming it was done at the time of the MWOs...

Hey guys, I'm new to the board - thanks for all the great info. I just bought a M998 to restore with my three boys and for recreational use. I am looking forward to get started. I'm trying to research the origin and work history on this truck so I can know what direction to take and understand...
