I picked up an M872 and M872A1 from Fort Hood yesterday. On the data plates there is a 4 digit number for the ID, is the number usually only four digits?. The year of manufacture is not on any data plate, is there any place on the trailer I can find it? Thanks, Mik

Any SSers picking up from FT. Hood on Monday 09/09? I am heading up there Sunday night anfd picking up an M872 and M872A1 on Monday. Would be nice to meet some other SSers while I am there.

Thank you all for coming on Saturday. We had a great showing of MV collecters from the San Antoinio area and from Austin. I look forward to next months meeting and hopefully we can get some more things going on down here.

I wasn't able to take pictures of all the MVs I saw on flatbeds on the trip back (I-10). I did see some type of WW2 German Armor on a flatbed headed west but it was mostly covered, so all I saw was some of the front tracks and part of the paint scheme on the front. It was a 1300 trip back in an...

And finally there were a bunch of hangers with some great things inside. It was a neat place, glad we stopped there.

Me and the Family went on leave to CA for a couple weeks and visited a few bases and museums while on the trip. Figured I would post a pictures of the sights we saw. First is March Air Base Museum in Riverside, CA. They actually had a mock fire base set up.

There is plenty of parking here on FT. Sam Houston, and we have a a few couchesor even some cots if you prefer ;).
