    No head or tail lights

juanprado, you called it! I looked over the frame rails on both sides and nothing, but when I got under the truck and looked between the frame rails I found a wire (for side markers) taht was pinched between the bed and the wood spacer. When I cut the wire, the head lights and tail lights came...

My Like New 925 From Indianapolis Truck Center

Great score, I drove mine about 170 miles home at around 60-65 but blew a front tire 140 miles into the trip. THEN I found in tiny print on the tire - Max speed 55 mph! Don't know if we damaged our tires or not driving at excessive speed for distance but it is worth watching. Cool trucks.

    Battery question on 925A1

Great news guys, thanks. I do live where it sometimes gets below zero and I might need it then, since I got it to bust through deep snow (probably just insured it won't snow at all now!) But I can get two more batteries before it gets real cold.

    Battery question on 925A1

My 925 has four batteries that are shot. I can cable two in series to get 24 volt but will that have enough oomph to start the truck, it has a NHC 250 Cummings. I will put four in before winter but wondered if that would work for a bit. Thanks.

    No head or tail lights

Thanks juanprado, I found that box, I will check the circuit breakers it might give me a clue if I have a short issue. "Cut Wiring could be an issue since it looks like your bed has been changed." That's what I thought but since I have those two little red bars (tail lights) in the low light...

    No head or tail lights

I have tried it in all positions, in the dark so I am pretty sure. Okay, on to a different switch then. Are they hard to find? And by the way, thanks for the awesome quick response!

    No head or tail lights

Just starting the checkout on my new to me 925A1 and I find I have no head lights, tail lights or turn signals. I have dash lights in dim or bright and I have black out lights front and back. I did find what appears to be a thermal signal actuator that seems to be bad so I think I have the turn...

They ARE painted yellow! I am hoping I can take the lenses off and use some paint thinner to clean that off. Suppose there was a reason they did that -

Ft. Riley Ks to Oak Grove Mo

Went to Riley and picked up my 925A1 last week. The trip went really well till I blew a front tire in the middle lane of I-70 in down town KC. Really felt sorry for the lady driving right next to the tire when it blew. Fortunately it didn't make any big pieces except for the tread which stuck...

    Hello!

o1951- You are exactly correct, cummins with alison auto. First time I ever drove a big truck with auto. I drove for years and I thought I would miss the shifting but it was pretty cool. Thanks for the info on the tires, I will look them over carefully, I would assume sitting for so long is hard...

    Hello!

Hello all, by way of introduction, I bought my first (and probably only) military surpluss vehicle, a M925A1, located at Ft. Riley, Ks. Drove it home today (just East of KC) and all went really well till we were in KC and at 55mph in the middle lane I blew a front left drive tire! Fortunately...
