Wow, excellent write up in that link! Sadly I think I might have to tackle this project, grease/ oil like substance is leaking from my driver front and its not brake fluid...
Thanks for all the info guys, below is a link to a video on you-tube where a gentleman used his vacuum in his truck to suck up oil. Side Note: I don't know the guy in the video but i really like his idea. and i thought about using a shop vac to create vacuum in a bigger tank but ill have to play...
Thanks for the great info folks! I didn't know that static would be an issue in this system, guess ya learn something new each day[thumbzup] and yes I was going to look through DOT rules about hauling bulk as to the tank would have to be able to hold at least 200 gal to make it worth it...
I saw online people use vacuum pumps, that run of 12vdc or 120vac, harbor freight sells vacuum pumps although I'm not sure if it's the right type. A gentleman even went as far as using the vacuum line on his pickup to get vacuum in the tank and once it gets to a certain point ya stick your...
Well I searched and came up with nothing so here is my question/idea.
Has anyone ever thought about or used vacuum to collect wvo/WMO or whatever it is you burn? I've been looking at pumps for collection purposes and I ran into a "super sucker" vacuum truck and that's where the idea came from...

Also if you buy a truck with a winch and it runs loading it would be a breeze
Here's my opinion, take it for what it's worth.
Leave the stock system in place to run the "truck" so to say (ex: brakes, stock horn, anything else stock on the truck)
For all your additional air accessories (seats, extra horn, running air tools, etc) go buy a DOT approved tank and air...
Funny you post this, I was just talking to a state inspection mechanic about this tonight. He said he will inspect according to what the truck was originally equiped with. The light deal came up and he said since it was made to either have running lights or headlights on, not both at the same...
Not sure how most people fly them on deuces but I would try to get the American flag
Flying a little higher than all the rest somehow, but still be mindful of low power lines. I would say that 99.9% of the people that truly care about this country will appericiate the American flag flying higher...
Hinge the front and half way back have some kind of actuator on each side of it, depending on how long an actuator it is it would lift it to a decent hight
