if you have a friend that has a trailer and is willing to help ya, let him. It would be safer and more reliable to get it home on a trailer. then once ya get it there you can go over it for any problems. Not saying it wouldnt make the trip but ya never know...

I didn't wire it up yet, but I got 2 licencse plate lights from tractor supply, they are each 12 volt, I'm going to mount them side by side and just wire them in series off of the driver side tail light. It should work just fine in theory:-P
