Those are some of the reasons I triple check every trailer I tow is connected properly.... I will not be the cause of someone's death cause I was to lazy to hook safety chains.... An ounce of prevention......

Sounds like an aftermarket of sometype IMHO, The two hoses are your coolant lines, the switch controls the fan speed... Thats just my thought on it and without seeing pics its hard to tell

I had the same exact problem as you a little while back, and after reaserching i thought it was the booster, well pulled that off, took it apart, cleaned it, threw it back together and i still had the problem, Next i rebuilt the Master Cylinder, that was my problem part... The piston was jammed...
