This site really needs a General Discussions forum. As pointed out in this thread, the Conversations forum is to be used for MV discussions only. It would be extremely handy to have one forum dedicated to off topic posts, general discussions and friendly chatting not related to military...
As a fellow M105A2 owner and Washatonian, let me welcome you to the site. Be warned, the trailer won't be enough. You WILL want a truck to go with it. It's only a matter of time. :-D
You can kind of see my M105A2 behind Goliath:
I still need a set. Just need to work out my finances for the next couple weeks to see if there is enough cash to afford it. (stupid recession)
Any idea what shipping would be to zip code 98072?
I located mine in the tool box because it was originally in a cardboard box under the passenger seat and slid around when I was driving on bumpy roads.

No kidding, I'd love to get those!
As for backing, that is exactly what I did. My dad stood near the back of the deuce with a flashlight and shouted out directions. It sort of worked, but I couldn't see a thing.
The pintle hitch on the front is a great idea!

Moved from this thread...
At first I wasn't too concerned. I figured maybe it needs a rear main seal and would get around to fixing it later. Now I'm concerned that the clutch may be contaminated with motor oil, or that gear oil and motor oil are mixing somewhere in the truck.
I assume that...
