    Yet Another Air Wipers Thread

I tightened up all the screws nice and snug, then turned on the air. Nothing was moving so I jammed a wire down the exhaust tube. Little by little dust and crud blew out of the tube and suddenly the wiper started working extremely fast. A lot faster than the driver's side wiper motor. I did the...

    Anyone need end curtains?

Are these the same end curtains that fit an M35A2 or are they different?

    Yet Another Air Wipers Thread

Stupid question, but is the exhaust hole the bent black tube near the air inlet tube?

    Yet Another Air Wipers Thread

My truck is from the desert. I don't think the wipers were used much if at all.

    Yet Another Air Wipers Thread

I searched and couldn't find the answer for this. Having tested my wipers for the first time yesterday, I noticed a significant amount of air leaking around the gasket on the left side of the passenger wiper motor. After tightening down the 8 or so screws around the gasket, the wiper no longer...

    16 Stuart tanks

Wow, that's really bizarre. I wonder what the reasoning is for this.

Wobble while turning at highway speeds

FWIW, I found out what was wrong with my deuce. I hadn't noticed it before, but the passenger side front tire tread pattern is terribly cupped. It looks like it was mounted previously on a truck that spun the tire in the opposite direction and had been badly worn, probably due to low air...

    Quit running

I purchased my in tank pump from Olympic Controls for $225. I found out the hard way that the original pump was bad when I couldn't reprime the fuel system after replacing the fuel filters. My truck only had 276 hours on the clock FYI, but the pump was most likely 18 years old. That's the last...

Hey All.. New Guy with some questions

It's a gamble with GL. I was lucky and got a great truck. Would I do it again? Probably would.

    New m35a2 owner.

Sounds like it could be a bad injector pump.

    euc

You could fill one out, but you couldn't submit it. GL needs the invoice number of the winning auction to get you approved. Plus they are severely backed up with paperwork as it is. I doubt they would like to approve people that haven't won yet.

I went to look at another deuce today...

Without seeing the frame, that deuce looks totally restorable.

What did you do about the turbo? You said it was bad. I remember reading that the timing on these engines is different for turbos vs. non turbos. Did you replace the turbo or are you trying to start it without the turbo? It may not be starting because the truck is trying to run with a turbo, but...

    No Garage, Need Insurance

Still waiting to hear from Carol at Gulfway. If I were needing to move my truck, I wouldn't be happy.

    GL warehouse

Why couldn't they open a branch in Washington state? Oklahoma is too far away. My notice said they have a '52 Studebaker that I'd love to check out.
