You may need to get new batteries. The 24 volt system helps the starter turn over quickly. I was amazed that the starter turns over as fast as my gasoline car does. Any other 12 volt diesel tends to turn over slowly.
Also the diesel could be bad. Any idea how old the fuel is? Try adding fresh...
Are you sure about this? My trucks registration number is 04G-23671 which by your numbering means it would be a '71. Carnac ran it through his computer and it came up as a '78. Also the SF-97 form confirmed it was a '78. The serial number (which I haven't posted here) matches the one on the...
Speaking of the master cylinder cap and using a pressure bleeder, I've seen photos here where the bleeder is connected to the top of the master cylinder cap. I don't recall seeing any connection on the top of the cap on my truck. I do have a breather line attached to the side of the cap however...

How much DOT 5 brake fluid do I need to bleed the brakes? I want to change out the old fluid for all new stuff. Since DOT 5 is expensive, I don't want to buy too much, but I want to have enough to get it changed...
My passenger side wiper is hecka slow compared to the driver's side wiper. I don't think the wipers were used much since the truck was mainly used in the desert. Should I try to lube the passenger wiper motor, or blast compressed air through the line? Maybe it's partially clogged...
I'm keeping my truck pretty much stock at this moment, but I could see interest in your system. Try building a couple kits and put them up for sale and see what happens.
My EUC arrived last night. Couldn't pick it up from the post office until this morning because they required a signature confirmation. Total time from request to arrival was 22 days.
