    Broke throttle cable on new to me M1008. Rigged a hand throttle and got her home. Off to find some sort a cable.

    Gained a M1008. Seems to be a pretty good truck. I think it is 6.2 with a turbo added.

    Drove #364 over to check on the new to me 1008. She fired off on just GP.

    M1008 zero rates/Ubolt reversal.

    This is the 8* shim installed, thick end to front. Brought the pinion down. I had no vibs before putting it in,just one of those things that bothered me.Raining today,sorry about poor picture. Also used DIY4x4 shock mounts, have shocks spread to outer holes at top now.

    You need C-clamps to compress the springs and the center bolts will work. I used 8 degree shims to get right angle for pinon .

    Converted to 12 volt awhile back. Went to manual switch for glow plugs. Relay failed soon there after. Changed it out,went back to key activated glow plugs, not sure which part was bad,it works a lot better than before now.

    My issue had been finding any in stock. As an update I ordered from Equipment Sales. Received part in two days and it looks nice. Will update further when I get around to installing.

    Switched to two yellow top batterys , moved mounts. Took her out wheeling with a bunch of jeeps. Went on the not so hard group,35inch tire. I run 37s. Good choice,no real problems. 7000+lbs following 4500lbs jeeps was interesting. Confirmed why v-belts are of the past and big wide belts are...
