Thanks for the tips, that what I'm doing, we have a good supply of diesel additives at the fire house and me and the guy in charge of the rigs mixed up a " special" blend for my deuce. It has ATF, Bio-Clean, Diesel 911, anti-gel, and just a generic diesel IP cleaner...
Ya it's a little much but...
How long do ya got to remove it from base??
I mite be able to get it off base for ya and to Halifax, bout 40 mins north from the gap... That would give you time to come get it that fits into your schedule.
Just let me know details and we can try to work something out, an I can't promise to...
Sorry, didnt try it yet... Every time I open up the fuel canister drains I get a snotty like gunk coming out so right now I'm putting Bio-Kill stuff in it to see if it's just algea clogging the lines....
State farm here in PA. Its insured as a " Stake Body Commercial Truck for Private Use". $27 a month, no restrictions.
There biggest question was why do you want this, I told them why not:driver:
Wait only two made? And if this is one of them... There mite be a real possibility the second one is still out there somewhere?! I say we go find it:twisted:
Agreed with the civi trailer idea..... Heavy trailers and light trucks don't mix well... Just today I was pulling a 25ft chicken rack trailer with my f150... Slowing down for a sharp downhill turn it pushed my truck to the point I was nervous half way thru the turn....
Just want to see you make...
:ditto:
Today return to the fire station in the utility after picking the chiefs son from school (1st grade) even as young as he is asked why there was a army truck ( my deuce) sitting in the parking lot. Surprised the h*** outta me he got that correct.
Anyway I like the original colors but...
Due to a recent someone stirring up alot of... emotions... the rule was changed to 100 posts.
Ya it sucks i guess but 100 post arent really that hard to get in a few months, just dont go around starting threads about BS to get your post count up. that WILL NOT HELP YOU in the long run. Also...

That's some good reading for ya to start out with, also look for and read the " so you wanna buy a deuce". I'm sure someone can find the link and post it here for ya I can't for the life of me find it right now aua aua
Sorry I can't...
Wow lots of good info here! In my opinion though IFTA should apply to companies, corporations, businesses alone. Why screw with individual personal vehicles when they could be gettin big bucks from fleets breaking these rules ( I'm sure there out there...)
To the OP, good luck and keep us...
Thanks for the tips, once it gets warmer the tank is scheduled to come off and get a good cleaning. And if the algae cleaner doesn't do much maybe new fuel lines is in the future. As to what was in the tank I can't begin to tell ya. It was murky looking and didn't smell like any diesel I've ever...
Anyone dealt with this problem before. After only gaining a few more rpm's after my filter change I started asking around. One guy said the snotty slimy stuff that I got out of my filters sounds like algea, and he said if it has truly sat for a few years it would have a real good chance to...
Sorry can't help ya with the deuce tour unless you wanna come to little old Halifax PA.:cookoo:
But welcome to the site! Plenty of reading here to keep ya busy a while. Search for the document here tittled "So you wanna buy a Deuce". [thumbzup]
If they are a solid burning light you could probably modify a turn signal flashed to flash them light if you would want to do so... Although for the $ u would wrap up in them I would go with modern LED strobe light heads... $30 a piece and has tons of flash patterns. But then your into the 12...
