Replacement Light Bulbs.com has Deuce headlights (Wagner 4863-1) for $17.50 each. However, they do not include the pigtails. Is there a major issue with getting 4863’s without the pigtails?
Does anyone have a trashed alternator or just an alternator case for a multifuel? The rear bolt point of my alternator has sheared and I just need the case.
Since Westfolk got me enough wheels to have a spare, I've figured out what all the fuss is over. However, if you take off the spare, tank draining is no big deal. With the tire, well...I've ordered my remote drain.
Got mine today...you are the man, RDM!
Smooth, no burrs, fits well and the option for whatever color you want (to paint it)..but the best part is it was affordable!!
I do understand the that ambers do not come one with the headlights…but you’re probably not to far off with that point and me. The ambers do not work on the first stop and the lights do not work on the second.
As for the idle…what is it supposed to be at to prevent killing the lights?
And as...
OK, got another one for the Deuce mechanics out there, especially the electricians.
My right light has been intermittent on low beam. Sometimes it worked, other times it was AWOL. No biggie, still had one…needed a new light or needed to redo the connection because it was loose.
However...
I appreciate the feedback. One thing that is weird, I never had this issue prior to this week. Yeah, it might grind occasionally, but not like it is now...everytime
Don't seem to have any problems with any of the other gears, just 1st and reverse.
I'm not afraid of doing the clutch, but moving that beast of a transmission will not be fun.
If I do, I assume you all would like pictures of the process...
Well, I got plates today and talked to my insurance carrier and the other shoe didn’t drop. I’m paying $75.00 a year for over $100,000.00/$300,000.00 liability only with a provision that I will only drive 2,000 miles a year and that it is used for restoration, shows and club stuff. I told him...
So, oh Deuce Wizards...why is my Deuce all of a sudden grinding when I attempt to put it in First and Reverse. I figured that instead of me continuing to beat myself with the TM's, I'd check with those that know. If you say I need a new transmission...wait for the gunshot.
In searching for insurance for my Deuce so that I can get the dreaded license plates to deface it, I may have come across some affordable insurance for those of you that are like me…
A. No HEEEEYUGE garage to keep it in…
B. Don’t plan on using it excessively (or for work for that matter)…
C...
I love USAA as well, but when I talked to them about insuring my Deuce, they said they did not do it. They connected me with another company that would, but they wanted it garaged. Maybe its Virginia...
RE: God, Titles & Virginia
Its in the plans...I've got to dump about $300 changing the filters and fluids, as well as at least the driver side boot. I figure I'll pull the entire axle and do it right so that I know what I have.
God, Titles & Virginia
There is a God…and a benevolent one at that. I should have taken Ethan’s advice sooner  , but being two people away from GL and my multiple dealings with local DMV clerks, I thought…”no way that will work for me”. It goes like this…
I finally got fed up with the...
